Cardiff Capitals play their hockey in the South Wales region of British Inline Puck Hockey Association (also known as BIPHA). South Wales league games are played in two venues Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre And Pen-Yr-Heol Leisure Centre.

BIPHA is recognized by the British Roller Sports Federation national governing body in Great Britain for inline puck hockey. All games are played to rules of the International Federation of Roller Sports (FIRS), these rules being based upon the ethos of non checking, with no blue and red line offside rules.

The regular season runs from around September of each year and finishes around March to April the following year. The teams that finish in the top two places of the South Wales league at each age group travel to play in BIPHA Nationals, where teams play the top two teams from other regions inside BIPHA. BIPHA Nationals are played during June and July each year.
