Presentation Night held at LLanishen Leisure Centre

Following on from the success of last year's 3-on-3 Capitals World Cup, this year's presentation night took the form of a Capitals Champions League football tournament - with the father's team (Real Madrid) out to retain their title, if legs would allow!

Teams are made up of mixed age groups - some a fair bit older than others - the aim was to get a 12/14, 16 and a 18/21 player in each team

The fathers could not achieve their dream of a double - with AC Milan finishing runners up and Roma winning the tournament.

This was followed by a basket meals and drinks in the bar before the main event of the evening.

The Jon Hiles Award of Recognition

The Club has decided to inaugurate an annual award, in memory of Jon Hiles, to any individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Club, in whatever capacity.

The award this year was presented to Tim Francis, at Denzil's suggestion, for his dedication and commitment to the coaching of the younger players and in appreciation of the many hours he spends fulfilling the refereeing responsibilities of the Club'.
